Susan Lane Foundation

Image & Word in Black & White

Join us as Susan Lane Foundation reaches into the Black and White of art - through image and word. Not only did Susan’s photography break ground, but her zest for life and commitment toward living it fully inspired all who knew her.

On October 28th, Art in the Loft will honor Susan’s legacy by celebrating her influence on Alpena while drawing on our own perceptions of what art is and how we can incorporate it into our own lives daily through image, word and music. Join us in this interactive night as we explore how art shapes how we see and hear. Please wear black and/or white as we toast an Alpena icon and Art in the Loft’s 15th year.

Free and open to the public.

Congratulations to poets

Nancy Nelson, Carol Lund,

Diane Speer, Mary Ann Heidemann,

The Alpena News. "We are thrilled by the prospect of digging into stories with you and working hard to continue to build community through words."
